Can We take your bag, Friend?

At Harmony Food Pantry, our personal shoppers can help you out! For the last month, we have been implementing a new program which involves facilitating food pick up for clients with disabilities. One of our pantry workers will take the client’s order and then collect the food - for those with mobility issues, this offering is a god-send. 

For people with disabilities, getting their groceries can present some issues. Between traveling to a pantry or grocery store, collecting all the food, and transporting it home, it can be an odyssey. But, at Harmony Food Pantry, we have a new offering to make it easier for our clients with disabilities to get their groceries!

This project is the first which aims to support people with disabilities who come to Harmony Food Pantry, but it’s not the last. We are considering the ways in which we can make our pantry more accessible for everyone - so stay tuned for more updates on how we are streamlining our pantry!
