Pantry Gets a Fresh New Look Thanks to Thrivent Support

Thanks to a Thrivent community grant, Harmony Community Cares Food Pantry received a much-needed refresh. We purchased paint and supplies to transform the space for the many families we serve each month.

Special thanks to the volunteers who applied for the grant and made it happen. If you're a Thrivent member, you may be eligible to apply for future grants to support projects like this!

Through Thrivent’s Action Team program, account holders can apply for mini-grants twice a year to support local community projects. HCC received funds to cover paint, tools, and cleaning supplies, while our dedicated volunteers provided the hands-on work to complete the pantry makeover.

The result is a brighter, more welcoming space for neighbors who rely on the pantry for food and support. As demand remains high, these small but impactful projects allow HCC to keep serving with care, dignity, and community partnership.
